This privacy statement applies to all data that we collect and process from (potential) customers and from users of our websites, apps and other services.
Data we collect:
We collect data in the following ways:
- Data that you provide to us.
- Data that we receive based on the use of our services and products.
What data do we process and for what purposes?
If you visit a website or app of ours:
- we process a number of your data in order to provide the functionalities of these online services and to manage them technically. We process this data for the purpose of managing and improving our website and app and analysing use. We also use cookies for this purpose. For this we may process the IP address of your device, the web or app page visited, click and browsing behaviour, the internet browser you use, the duration of a visit or session.
- You can fill in an online application form with us and post a comment/question. We process your data so that we can assess your application and contact you regarding your application. For this we process data such as your name, email address and telephone number.
If you enter into an agreement with us:
- we process your data for the purpose of performing our agreement, we process your data so that we can offer a service and for our administration. Data that we may process are your name and address details, name, email address, telephone number, gender.
- we process your data to send invoices and administer payments. The purpose is to invoice and to keep our administration. For this purpose we process your name and address details, payment details, invoice details, contact details and other data in our customer administration.
- we like to have contact with you and like to maintain it. We would like to offer good service. To answer possible questions, for internal management, for the handling of complaints/disputes, we process your name and address details and contact details.
- you may receive a newsletter or offer from us to be of service to you (promotional and marketing purposes), with your consent. We use your data for the purpose of being able to approach you by post, email or telephone. We may also approach you on social media platforms. You can unsubscribe from this via the link at the bottom of the email, or you can notify us of your unsubscription by letter or telephone. We process your contact details such as your email address, name and address details and, where applicable, your gender (to personalise the emails) in order to send you the newsletter or offer (such as your email address).
- when you contact us for your work, we may process your personal data. For example, to establish whether you are authorised to represent your company.
Communication via social media:
- we are active on social media such as Instagram and Facebook. If you contact us via social media, we process your data for the following purposes: to contact you, to be able to answer the questions you ask via social media, if you participate in a promotion, to be able to carry out the promotion and inform you about the follow up and the result, or to hear your opinion. In doing so, we process your contact details such as, for example, your (user)name (social ID), address, email address.
For the development and improvement of our products and services:
- in order to serve you well, we work continuously on the development and improvement of our products and services. In some cases we process personal data for this purpose. For example, if you ask a question about a product.
- to analyse, maintain, optimise and secure our (mobile) websites, apps and related technologies and to prevent fraud. For this purpose we may process personal data or monitor it via the system.
Archiving purposes:
- no more personal data is collected than necessary for the purposes stated. If the data is not retained for those purposes, we may nevertheless still retain the data for archiving purposes.
If we are going to use your personal data for purposes other than those stated above, we will ask for your consent in advance. The processing of personnel data by us takes place in accordance with the GDPR. Personal data is only processed if:

- the data processing is necessary for the performance of our agreement to which you are a party, or for taking pre-contractual measures in response to a request from you which are necessary for the conclusion of an agreement;

In principle, we retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above, or to comply with legal (retention) obligations.
Security
BBIG takes appropriate, adequate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss or unlawful use. This includes (standard) appropriate security levels, an information security policy, training of our staff, secure servers and physical security of the premises where data is stored.
Engagement of third parties
In carrying out our activities and other business operations, we also engage third parties. This includes mail dispatch, printers, hosting services and IT service providers. Insofar as these third parties process your data in carrying out these services, they must process your data in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. These third parties must demonstrably have taken appropriate security measures and must observe confidentiality. We ourselves also take the required contractual, technical and organisational measures.
BBIG as processor
BBIG may act as a processor for its customers. The activities as processor are carried out by BBIG in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations (including the GDPR).
Request for access, correction and erasure
You can view your personal data with us at any time and have it corrected or erased. You can also ask whether all the data we have received from you is correct. Within four weeks we will provide you with an overview of the data known to us. We may charge costs, in accordance with the Cost Reimbursement Decree (Besluit kostenvergoeding). You can send a written request with a copy of your proof of identity to our postal address Protonenlaan 26, 5405 NE Uden, for the attention of the management.
